Ready steady go

As is so often the case in our household, any travel that requires booking is done very, very last minute.  So, dear reader, l am sat in the costa coffee lounge on the p & o ferry from hull to Zeebrugge, hastily scanning road maps, trying to plan tomorrow's route.

The weather forecast, according to the good old BBC, is good, l checked last night before booking.  The choice was rattle south to Provence or tootle across the west coast of France.  Decisions decisions.... Ok so we head west, next problem do we travel via Rouen, missing the dreaded 'p' word or do we attempt to find the N 104 & the  Paris outer ring.  Still out on that one, will decide in the morning.

I have, you will be pleased to note, highlighted in green marker pen, two possible over nighties, either Le Mans (Rouen route) or Orleans ( the Paris route).

Perhaps l ought to mention who else is travelling?  Well, the pilot of  the 05 reg hymer b564, is husband stephen , whilst l am the navigator.  Every year l keep meaning to keep a blog diary & every year l forget, so this year, fingers crossed, here we go!
